After posting Ching’s Ilocos Road Trip at 3rd World Kids, I got inspired to share my photos from a work related trip to Pagudpod for Havaianas.

I still believe that windmills = love.

As if I’m not overly excited enough to see the Bangui Windmills that I bought a pinwheel a week before the trip. Hahaha. So this photo is their first meeting. Windmills meet Pinwheel.

If you want to feel Dawn Zulueta-ish Cape Bojeador is the way to go. We were joking around pretending to be tour guides and concocted stories about how if you’re lovers you’ll be together for all eternity if you meet up at the top of the lighthouse. Quite believable don’t you think?

I wasn’t really one for ‘people shots’ but my new Bestest Best Friend Ria rubbed off her camwhorage gene on me. Behind us is Paoay Church. Right across is Cafe Herencia where we had Pinakbet and Dinuguan Pizza.

This is a photo I took while inside Paoay Church. I was very pleased with how it turned out. You can tell how sunny it was outside.

That’s Kuya Thanie from Studio23 who was the only first timer to stand on a surf board that day. He said if being a cameraman doesn’t work out, he’ll become a professional surfer instead. Hahaha.

After this trip I have vowed to return to Ilocos Norte for the empanadas, a great tan and its windmills.
